Mia Salans, MD

Radiation Oncology Resident

Mia is a resident in the Department of Radiation Oncology at UCSF. She has a particular interest in improving the long-term side effects of radiation and much of her research has focused on understanding the cognitive sequelae of intracranial radiotherapy. In Dr. Hervey-Jumper’s lab, she is exploring the activity of irradiated cortex during language task performance in patients with high-grade gliomas.
