Research Interests: Adult glioma, neuroplasticity, neurocogniton
My project focuses on synaptogenesis-mediated cortical plasticity in adult glioma patients. Some regions within gliomas have been found to have strong functional connectivity with surrounding brain areas and investigation of how the interface of this specific population of connectivity-rich glioma cells with their immediate vicinity neurons contribute to clinical recovery of language and cognitive deficits in brain tumor patients is the fundamental goal of my research.
